The Eve Merton Dreams Trust wanted a photo of their sunday league team, the Evestrust Dynamos. After a kick about before the game we grab be the team photo.

I hung around to catch the game as the Dynamos took 3 points from their opponents from Askern.

The Eve Merton Dreams Trust cancer charity organised a dream wedding for Jackie and Jim after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was told that she only had weeks left.

The Trust's dedication to helping Doncaster's cancer sufferers and their families was amazing and with the help of Minster Law solicitors they were treated to the day that such as lovely couple deserved.

The wedding was a civil ceremony held at Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium and had car, flowers, cake, food, decorations, dress all organised through the help of local businesses.

Being part of this families day was very emotional and reminds me why I got involved with being a member of the Trust's team as this event meant so much to everyone.

Personally delivering the newlyweds their wedding album along with one of the charity's founders, Clynton Johnson, around 2 weeks after the wedding they were so grateful and you could see we had really made a difference.

Sadly, Jackie has since passed away. I hope that the memories we helped to create will be remembered by everyone for many years.
The annual 6km and 12km Resolution Runs around the Rother Valley Country Park happened on the 11th of January. Trail runs for regulars and those getting a fresh start to the year. In 2014, my partner had ran in the 12km event last year and I captured photos of the runners as "photography practice" and was asked by event organisers if they could use some images when promoting the next event.

The plan for 2015 was to take photos for a gallery on this site to offer the participants high resolution downloads, while my partner once again ran.
The photos have been a hit with the runners and hope this may lead to covering more sporting events.

As part of long term training I attend weddings with top wedding photographer Chris Chambers, with hundreds of weddings under his belt he is an ideal mentor and has lots of knowledge and experience when it comes to capturing the day and getting the bride and groom the best images.

This ceremony took place at St. Peter's Church in Conisborough, Doncaster on 21st of December.

The newlyweds then travelled to Rossington Hall for their reception.

Although photographing a wedding is a long day, it is always an enjoyable experience and watching Chris at work will be greatly beneficial to the weddings I have booked in this year.

The Bride and Groom headed outside after dark and for more portraits that included Off-Camera flash and sparkler writing. I have no doubts they will be blown away by their album.
